ABOUT THE EVENT:

On the 18th October 2015, Eimeo Surf Life Saving Club will attempt to smash the current Guinness World Record in the Largest Game of Beach Flags and this is your opportunity to be a part of this World Record event! The Eimeo SLSC World’s Biggest Beach Flag Race is designed to inspire the young and young at heart. We want everyone to get active and have fun while raising awareness of our club and the important work we do to keep the community safe and ensuring ‘Zero Drownings’. This event is open to everyone in the community, why not get the whole family involved!

LOCATION:

The event will take place at beautiful Eimeo Beach, the Esplanade, Eimeo, on Mackay’s Northern Beaches.

EVENT DETAILS:

  • Date: Sunday 18th October 2015
  • Entry is available to ages 5+ with no maximum age limit
  • 3 categories: Open, 10-15 years, 5-9 years
  • Registration $20, includes event t-shirt & flag
  • Capped at 500 competitors
  • Each of the first 4 rounds will knock out 100 competitors until 100 remain, then eliminations of one at a time
  • 7am check-in for 8.30am start
  • Prize money
    • 1st Prize $500
    • 2nd Prize $200
    • 3rd Prize $150
    • 4th Prize $100
    • 5th Prize $50
  • Registrations close at 500 participants
