Thank you to everyone who has gone through the process of getting a Bluecard and linking to your surf life saving profile.
We have a General Meeting scheduled for the 7 December at 6pm. All welcome. If you have any general business you would like covered, please email to secretary@eimeoslsc.com.au - this meeting should be relatively quick but a great way to find out what is happening around our Club and how things operate. The Agenda and Item for General Business will be sent out in the next few weeks when input has been received from members.
NIPPERS & ALBATROSS
I hope you all enjoyed our Tri-Series as much as we did! Your smiling faces and willingness to give things that perhaps aren’t the norm in distance and difficulty level made us proud. You should all be proud of yourselves. Some of you haven’t seen a string of 9 or the other cans and you all had a crack at those distances in your events.I would like to make a special shout out to anyone that tackled the Iron Person for the first time this morning. An Iron is the most challenging event in a carnival program as it has a swim, board and run combined. Thank you to everyone that helped out on and off the beach not only today but in the lead up. Team work makes the dream work and we have an amazing team
If anyone has any photos they would like to share you are welcome to add them the the Tri-Series 2023 Album in the Eimeo Nippers facebook group

SURF SPORTS
BRANCH Championships at Sarina U8 and up
The North Barrier Branch Championships will be held at Sarina SLSC on the 2nd and 3rd of December 2023.
This carnival is for Under 8 to Master’s and the last major branch carnival for the season, with competitors from all 7 clubs in the branch competing. All under 8 to under 14 competitors must have completed a Competition Proficiency to be able to compete. All competition proficiencies must be completed by Wednesday 22th November to allow the paperwork to be processed in time to nominate. You will be able to complete a proficiency at our Wednesday or Sunday trainings. This is a fantastic local carnival to be involved in, however by committing to going to the carnival there is an expectation that you will attend some of the training sessions, so the competitors get a chance to train together for the team events.
An official program hasn’t been released as yet, however I have attached a copy of last year’s program for reference.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding competition proficiencies.
If you are planning on attending, please complete your carnival nomination on the below link:
https://www.eimeoslsc.com.au/carnival-nomination-form
Nominations need to be received by November 24th to enable time to be processed.
If you have any questions, please see me at Nippers on Sunday 12th November.
Thanks,
Ross Armstrong
