What a first Sunday of Nippers! The weather was spectacular. Thank you to our water safety, age managers, organisers and parents for making it a ripper morning. We were so excited to see so many smiling faces running up and down the beach. Nippers is now back in full swing. Please check the Club calendar on the website for up to date information on what is happening around the Club.
We have nippers this Sunday at Eimeo Beach! Join the fun from 8.:30am. The uniform shop will be open at 8am Sunday morning (and 5 to 5.30pm this Friday night). All of our stinger suits for kids are $45 and adults $50. We have tried to price them so that they are economical for everyone.
If you need help with your memberships someone from our friendly team will be able to assist on Sunday morning.
This coming Sunday is Father's Day!
To celebrate our awesome dad's. We will have some extra items on the menu after nippers so you can sit back, relax and enjoy. We are looking for 2 volunteers to help serve from 11am. Food available from 11am. Bar open from 11am.
We will pull out some marquees for the grassed area.
IMPORTANT - Nippers will be at Sarina on the 7 September for the Tri Series. This is a super fun nippers session with kids from Eimeo, Mackay and Sarina surf clubs. It is important to note this is NOT a competition and a great event for the kids to learn more and experience a different part of surf life saving. It is free.
Patrollers: Andrew Malouf our Club Captain has loaded the Patrol Roster and this should now be in your Members Portal. If you cannot see your roster, please reach out to clubcaptain@eimeoslsc.com.au
Don't forget to nominate to be part of the Eimeo 24 Hour Rowing Challenge. Thanks to the Tim and his crew for taking the 9am to 11am slot. These guys will be coming off shift and coming down the row! Information below
24 Hour Rowing Challenge
Eimeo SLSC welcomes members, friends and family to help us row for 24 hours over the 7 and 8 September starting at midday and finishing at midday. It will be a cracker of a weekend with a little bit of sweat.
We will be running 2 machines - book in for your 1 hour slot. Don't stress you won't be rowing for 1 hour straight we will have people to tag in and out with. You are welcome to book more than 1, we will have upstairs set up with swags on Saturday night if you feel like a sleep over!! Get your friends together and make it an event to remember.
