We have our tri series this Sunday. It will be an amazing morning shared with members from Sarina and Mackay SLSC’s. Our Tri Series Events run like a carnival and are suited to all ages and skill levels.We look forward to seeing you all at this event, it is considered our normal Nippers Sunday morning.Please register your kids to participate as this helps us with run sheets: After the tri-series the club will be open for lunch and drinks with pies, burgers, chips and other snacks on offer.

NORTH AUSSIES
And that is a wrap for North Aussies 2023! The conditions this year were trying and put all of our competitors to the test. We are so proud of everyone who came and gave it their best! Thank you to our team manager, coaches - Ross, Greta, Alecia, Andrew and Lauren, water safety and IRB crews, age managers and officials - by working together the weekend was awesome!
We have been building our Junior club for the past 5 years (11th in 2020) and this year we took out 5th spot for Juniors (2nd in our Branch).
The U12 Age Champion of the Carnival was Madi 
her performance was nothing short of inspirational across all disciplines. Madi took out 7 medals across the event.

PATROL NEWS
There are printed version of the patrol roster in the First Aid room. Your patrol roster is available in your members portal.
Patrollers are asked to keep the First Aid room clean and tidy. There is to be no gear left on the bed and bags if left in the room need to be put under the bench. There is a cleaning list laminated on the back of the door. From this week we will be getting each patrol to come in as part of their tasks to make sure the room is as per the list.
A reminder that the Marine Stinger Risk Assessment Form needs to be completed. There is a new bound book of sheets in the patrol room.

CONGRATS!
Congratulations to Nate and Isaiah for making the Capricornia Team for Aquathon and Tri after the recent trials. Nate placed in age group and 6th overall against top level competition Isaiah placed fourth in his age group and fourth over all. good job boys!
